Q: What is the proper gear oil level for my axle with an ARB Diff Cover?
A: Our covers have a dipstick because your differential needs fluid up to a certain level, not necessarily quantity. To determine the level, you will need to compare your stock cover to the ARB cover. This is outlined in the instruction manual as follows:
Place the ARB Differential Cover on a bench next to the standard differential cover that you have removed from the vehicle. Using a straight edge (electrical tape does a great job), make a line from the bottom of the standard cover’s filler hole to the corresponding point on the ARB Differential Cover.
